History:

This family has been growing vines in Meursault for 7 generations now. Thanks to Michel's hard work, the estate grew over time. He was joined by his son Jean-Baptiste 20 years later, to learn the trade alongside his father. Together, they succeeded in acquiring a number of prestigious plots. In 1999, Michel let his son Jean-Baptiste manage the 10.5-hectare family estate. Jean-Baptiste was keen to improve the quality of the wines, so he decided to set up a new structure, and since 2009, the entire harvest has been located in the center of the village of Meursault.

So you'll be the first to know when arrivals from domaine Bouzereau Michel et Fils . Let me introduce you to some of our finest vintages:

  • Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Le Cailleret - Michel Bouzereau :

The bouquet is clean and precise, with attractive scents of wet granite/limestone filtering through aromas of green apple. Intense on the nose, but nicely concentrated. The palate is well-balanced, with a fine opening combining citrus peel, peach skin and a touch of ginger. Thanks to its acidity, it has more tension than some of the estate's other whites, with a lovely caressing finish and a waxy texture that lingers on the palate.

  • Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru - Michel Bouzereau :

The bouquet is powerful, focused on personality, with conspicuous scents of eucalyptus that give it an almost medicinal character, but not too strong to allow free expression of the terroir. The palate is balanced with a honeyed texture, without going overboard; a fine bead of acidity, modest weight on the palate in addition to hints of walnut and ginger towards the lively finish. One of Michel's best wines Bouzereau and is set for success over the next decade.

  • Meursault Les Tessons - Michel Bouzereau :

The bouquet is uplifted with attractive citrus fruit mingled with scents of almond, lemon and also a hint of freshly baked shortbread. The palate is well balanced, with a peachy entry, moderate acidity and a fairly linear style that gains in tension. There's also a hint of salinity in the aftertaste that motivates us to take another sip.
